Capri
Capri is perhaps the most charming island on the Gulf of Naples, with its steep coastal rock formations and emerald green to turquoise blue waters, where corals can easily be seen from the surface. Here is the good news: It is just an easy ferry ride away from Naples and Sorrento! Piazetta (officially known as Piazza Umberto I) is the heart of Capri town of the island, with its pavement cafes ideal for people watching. Designer boutiques selling beachware and Capri sandals are just a stone's throw away. While you are in Capri, you should not miss Giardini di Augusto. The terraced gardens are connected by a meandering walking path called Via Krupp down to the seaside, offering postcard beauty views! Nearby, Marina Piccola bay is the best beach spot of the island against the backdrop of Faraglioni rock formations. The island has always been a popular summer destination since the Roman times, and there are a few amazing villas to be visited here. Villa San Michele in Anacapri (the second town of the island on the slopes of Monte Solaro) is perhaps the most impressive one with its amazing terraced gardens. It is an artistic paradise created by Axel Munthe, a Swedish philantropist, who fell in love with Italy and its classical culture. Today, the villa belongs to Swedish state and is used as an institute of cultural exchange between the two countries. After visiting the villa, you could also take the chairlift to Monte Solaro to have fantastic views of the Gulp of Naples and the Amalfi coast. If you have extra time, you should also consider taking a boat from Marina Grande and tour around the island for its famous sea caves. La Grotta Azzurra (The Blue Grotto) is the most famous one, where you get through a very small hole by boat and enjoy the sparkling blue of the water, while the rower sings Santa Lucia aria!

Ischia
Here is a charming volcanic island on the gulf of Napoli, with an easy reach by boat from Naples. Ischia has some of the oldest and best thermal baths in the world, that has been active since the Roman times. Negombo Spa and Thermal Park also provides some of the best beaches of the island, while Terme Cavascura and Aphrodite Apollon within Miramare Sea Resort also worts checking. Ischia's healing and regenerative thermal water has also been used as the main ingredient by some natural beauty lines, like Ischia Beauty. Other points not to miss: Sant’Angelo on the quieter southern coast of the island, which is perhaps the most beautiful of Ischia's several fishermen's villages, and Castello Aragonese for best sunset views.
Procida
This naive island between Capri and Ischia is the least touristic of all three. Here you will find small fishing villages with houses painted in pastel tones, and postcard-beauty views looking like from the 60s. This picturesque island has also been discovered by film makers and became set for famous films like The Talented Mr. Ripley and Il Postino. As it is just 5 square kilometers wide, you can practically walk everywhere on the island.
